Rodrigo Santoro is divided between New York and Rio de Janeiro because his amount of work, and because his family and girlfriend Ellen Jabour – the couple are together for the last three years.

“I feel the necessity of always coming to Brazil, and if I can’t, Ellen goes to visit me “, said the actor, in the party of 65 years of the ice cream Chicabon, in the Museum Dinning Club, this Wednesday, 12, in São Paulo.

With the international career always growing, Santoro will be star “Rebeldt”, from David Mamet, in 2008. “This was one of the works I did in 2007. I have another movie to open, but it still has not a date”.

His last work in the Brazilian television was the miniserie “Hoje é Dia de Maria”, in 2005. “I don’t have nothing concrete for TV, if Rede Globe make somo proposal, I’ll study it”, said the actor.

Professional dedicated, Santoro has preference for characters “distant of his universe”. “I feel attracted by characters with a human side, they always teach me something”, he told. Helpful, Rodrigo paid attention to request of his fans, and posed for photos during two hours.

“I like it, and I learn to deal with it, that along my journay. I believe this is the result of my work”, explains.
