Some images for upcoming “Reis e Ratos” (Kings and Mouses) was released today. This was a movie totally shot in black and white, made in just 17 days early in April/2009, which have on cast Rodrigo Santoro, Cauâ Raymond and Selton Mello.

“I’m not dating anyone”

Rodrigo is cover of a brazilian magazine, TPM, and in interview he reveals that he’s not dating anyone.
He also told he’s not getting rich making movies. When he did “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” it has been said he received U$1 million to make the movie. “I almost had to pay to make it – he said – 60% of everything I get paid remains on USA, to pay manager, agent, bills”.

“There Be Dragons” press conference videos

I’ve just found out two videos made during the Argentine press conference of “There Be Dragons”, and added to our media streaming site. Didn’t found any with english audio, this both are in portuguese and spanish.

Also, the website for the movie is out now in four languages, no much content but you can keep tracking it.

Just was able to make screencaptures of awesome Pablo Trapero’s Leonera. In this movie, Rodrigo is Ramiro, Julia’s boyfriend. I need to say that I’m really impressed with Martina Gusman (Julia) work, she’s a great actress!

You can check the captures in our gallery, unfortunally I’m having issues with the software I use to make clips, but it will be online soon.

“Phillip Morris” gets rating “R”

According to ComingSoon, I Love You Phillip Morris was rated R for sexual content including strong dialogue, and language. The movie is set to be released on February 12, 2010.

Happy 6th anniversary!

Six years ago, Rodrigo has already a “big star” status in Brazil, and was starting his international career with “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle“. Here, and there, I used to read “who is this gorgeous guy?”. It was too hard to find any Rodrigo related information online, so I decided to open a website dedicated to him, to support his career and give to the ones which didn’t knew him already this opportunity.

Today is the day, and Rodrigo Santoro Fan is online for long six years. I almost can’t believe this! Six years, we’re still online, and we’re still the best source where you can find everything related to Rodrigo around. Sounds great, huh?
And I would like to thank you for visiting and supporting the website for all this time. All my online friends which helped me in some way. And, of course, Gertie, for hosting it and maintaining it when I wasn’t able to. Thanks guys.

I have a huge update to do today, I’m just having some video related issues, but it will be fixed for sure. So stay tuned!

Opus Dei-funded film on founder shooting in Argentina

BUENOS AIRES — Roland Joffe knows his latest film will be controversial, but says it is not meant as a response to “The Da Vinci Code,” whose bad guys were members of the Opus Dei movement of the Roman Catholic Church.

Joffe is in Argentina directing a biopic of Opus Dei founder Jose Maria Escriva de Balaguer, who sided with Francisco Franco during the Spanish Civil War and allegedly spoke positively of Adolf Hitler. The church dismissed the controversies before Escriva was canonized as a saint by Pope John Paul II.

Joffe has twice been nominated for Oscars, including for “The Mission,” which dealt with leftist Jesuit priests. Now he is exploring the church’s most conservative members.

Opus Dei is financing the film, “There be Dragons,” but Joffe said Monday it isn’t a propaganda project. Opus Dei members on the set say the British director has “creative space” to make the film he wants.

The city of Lujan near Buenos Aires is standing in for 1930s Madrid in the movie, whose cast includes actors Charlie Cox as Escriva and the latest Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko.
