Brazilian thesp Rodrigo Santoro, who played Persian ruler Xerxes in “300,” has been cast opposite Rose McGowan in Hit and Run’s “Black Oasis.”

Film, to be written and directed by Stephan Elliot (”Priscilla, Queen of the Desert”), chronicles the life of troubled starlet Susan Chabot, a favorite of the B-movie circuit who was bludgeoned to death by her son.

Hit and Run partners Hilary Shor and Tony Smith are producing.

Santoro will play Chabot’s husband.

Rodrigo is starring a new advertising here in Brazil. The advertising is on a book launched for a bank (Bradesco), giving to you 120 reasons to be customer. Beyond the advertising, the campaign counts on periodical and magazine’s announcements, radio spots, and material of agency.

I haven’t found nor the advertising, and neither photos, but as soon I get it, will post here to you.
